Cinema Politica presents THE GOOD NEIGHBOUR and HANDS ON: WOMEN, CLIMATE, CHANGE

Cinema Politica concludes its Fall 2014 season at Concordia with a double bill of films that propose different strategies for how to resist and remedy the environmental destruction caused by the Alberta tar sands. The scope of these two films, from international relations, to its detrimental impact on local indigenous cultures, to exposing the hidden economies within the oil industry, makes this a must-see event!

This evening’s films will be introduced by PhD student and Cinema Politica’s Programming Assistant, Dan Leberg.

The Good Neighbour and Hands On: Women, Climate, Change will screen in H-110 on Monday, December 8 at 7pm. Admission is by PWYC donation.
