Kabir Cultural Centre, in collaboration with the Indian High Commission in Canada and the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema of Concordia University is pleased to invite you to its second edition of the Indian Film Festival in Montreal : Through a Woman’s Lens.
This year, we will honor women directors. We propose a series of feature films on various themes and from different parts of India, all made by women filmmakers. Through a Woman’s Lens is a selection of critically acclaimed feature films, with rich content that creates stimulating discussions on the social debates of contemporary India. In this context, roundtables bringing together panelists from different backgrounds, academic, activist and / or artistic will take place after each screening.
