The academic job search is a competitive venture. How can you make your application stand out from the pool? What interview strategies will give you the edge you need to succeed? How can you tailor your research/teaching/publication skills to meet the needs of posted positions? Join us for a series of panel discussions with Concordia faculty on how to effectively negotiate the academic job search process.

Join us as faculty who have sat on several hiring committees discuss those applicants that stood out, some for more positive reasons than others. The committee will discuss factors that make your application stand out, tips for negotiating the interview process and how to close and follow-up.

This discussion will be led by:
Dr. Mark Sussman, Theatre Department
Dr. Masha Salazkina, Cinema Department;
Dr. Darren Wershler, English Department
