The CGFSSA would like to give you a heads up for some of the events we are planning in the New Year, so your can mark them down on you calendar!

The 3rd Annual MA Symposium:

This event will give MA students the opportunity to practice their conference presentation skills in a casual environment. The event will be held in the afternoon of either the 24th or 25th of January (location TBA). Start thinking of a paper you might like to present, because we will be sending out an email asking for submission shortly!

Movie Nights:

The members of the CGFSSA have each chosen a film they would like to show at the VMR. The screenings will be held on Thursday nights, once or twice a month. There will be a short discussion period and refreshments after each screening. Here is the tentative schedule:

January 16 – Jesse -Yes, Madam!

February 6 – Joaquin – Bolivia

February 27 – Patrick – Man Without a Face or Eating Raoul

March 13 – Nik – Parade

April 10 – Alyssa – The Wayward Cloud
